Fiveways Arts and Crafts
Living at Fiveways
The Fiveways Artists Group were the first group of artists to open their houses to the public, pioneered by Ned Hoskins back in 1981. Since then our group have grown from five to over fifty active artist members. This web site showcases the work of our members and even though they may not open their houses every year they continue to be productive and regularly update their pages.
This year we launched our brand new Fiveways Artists Group Trail Brochure. This gave more information about; our members and their guest artists, our sponsors, news and feature articles.
Finding your way around our web site. The menu buttons above will give you access under Artists to our last Trail Map with links to individual artists pages and an A-Z list of all our member artists, guest artists and associate artists. Under Group there is information for artists applying for membership, group photos, committee and contact members names, mailing list, links, publications and archives. Under Sponsors there is more information about our past sponsors.
This year we had 23 artists open houses plus The Open House Pub and Vardean School participating in our trail. Unfortunately Lucy Parker at trail venue No.15 and Diane Rogers at trail venue No. 17 were not able to open due to unforeseen circumstances.
Our new members were Karen Tilley a multi-media artist at trail venue No. 10 and J Kay Aplin an architectural ceramicist at trail venue No. 11.
