David Williams has exhibited at the Royal Academy and Whitechapel Galleries and other venues in London and throughout Sussex. He has work in the UK Government Art Collection and the Australian Embassy Collection. He has taught Art, Design, Painting and Drawing and is a keen photographer. He has written books on Design and is published in American Art reviews. He has worked as a graphic designer, illustrator and art therapist.
His dramatic acrylic landscape paintings have proved very popular with visitors to the Brighton Festival of Artists Open Houses. You can view his new work, some of which are local Sussex scenes, and purchase Giclee Prints through his website:
His Open House this May featured six guest artists. Including; the jeweller Rosina Beech who produces exquisite pieces combining silver, nylon and butyrate, the artist Michelle Dawson with her colourful seaside themes, the potter Rowena Gilbert who was awarded 'The Best Up and Coming Local Brighton Artist, the abstract painter Sally Meyer with her haunting images, the photographer Jo Renshaw with her eye for the moment and Tony Gray from Australia who makes fantastic sculptural pieces from found objects.
